I believe there is a difference between self inflicted busyness, stress, anxiety, etc. verses life threatening problems and special needs challenges being hurled at you a million miles a minute. I think it is different when it comes to stress of dealing with another human being’s care and the stress you choose to inflict upon yourself.

Why do people with no life inflicted stress want to push themselves and often succeed and why do we who have unexpected, unwanted, crazy stress inflicted upon us feel so much pain and are failure riddled most of the time? I believe the answer is anxiety.

Even though I struggle to make it through the day with my child I do not want to coast through life. I’m not sure how long it will take for me to recover but I do know by faith in God there is a reason for heartache and challenges.

Encouragement for Today:

Ecclesiastes 1:18 (KJV)

For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.

Nahum 1:7 (KJV)

The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
